A LITTLE KITTY WISDOM

Welcome to Zen Garden

A little breeding, a little discovery, and a very good reason to get attached to pixel cats.

A garden for your collection

Zen Garden is a seasonal part of All The Zen! When access is open and you meet the game’s entry requirements, you can collect garden kitties and place them in Rock, Tea, and Paradise gardens.

Each garden looks at a different cattribute: Rock uses color to boost ZPS, Tea uses body to boost APS, and Paradise uses pattern to boost Pet Bonus. Speed also matters. Only the highest-bonus kitty of each trait in a garden counts; duplicates add 0. Use the in-game placement preview to compare your options, and look for a trait the garden does not already have.

Put a kitty to work

Tap an empty slot and pick a kitty to put it to work. Or press and hold a kitty for a moment, then drag it onto a slot. Dropping it on a full slot swaps them, and the kitty that was there goes back to your list.

Pair kitties. Discover cattributes.

Choose a breeding pair from eligible kitties. Their color, body, pattern, and speed shape the possibilities for the kitten. Some pairings can produce mutations, but a possible result is never a guarantee. After breeding, wait for the egg’s hatch time and your kitties’ cooldowns.

Visit the Love Den

When the Love Den is available, you can use another player’s listed kitty as a breeding partner, or list an eligible kitty of your own. Review the eggplant cost, cooldown, and breeding possibilities before confirming. A listed kitty remains part of its owner’s collection; you are arranging a breeding, not buying that kitty.

A word with Doc Purr

When Doc Purr’s companion feature is available, ask about breeding goals, traits, or garden choices. He can help you think through your next pairing. Check the game’s actual odds and confirmation details before committing resources.

Plan around the season

Garden features and bonuses have availability windows. The in-game announcements and timers explain when a garden is open and when its bonuses end. Rebirth and season transitions have different rules, so review the relevant confirmation screen instead of assuming your garden will always carry over.
